Go forth, the tellers of tales. And seize whatever the heart longs for. Have no fear. Everything exists. And everything is true. And the earth is only a little dust under our feet.
-W.B. Yeats. “The Celtic Twilight.”
Brea is a dreamer, a poet, a short story and fiction novelist, and a current holder of a double Masters degree she isn’t using. She has work appearing in Warren Lapine’s Fantastic Stories Science Fiction Super Pack, New Realm and eFiction by Fiction Magazine, NY Literary, and Conceit Magazine’s The Bracelet Charm Biannual. Her hobbies include people watching, alternately picking/loving on her boyfriend, dog, and three cats, and using everything as ammunition for her next big paranormal romance project. When she is not writing, she’s likely binge watching HGTV, planning her next home renovation project, or annoying her family and friends by threatening to put them in her novels. She received her B.A. from Berea College and her M.S. from Nova Southeastern University and lives with her puzzle piece family in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
Originally hailing from the less-than-perfect but nonetheless beautiful garden state of New Jersey, Brea has spent most of her years traveling, collecting adventures, and attempting to find the perfect place to plant roots. All the while she has been writing. An avid people watcher and any-scrap-available note taker, she uses the world around her (and her own experiences) as fodder for her fiction projects. Life is a story. Live the life you want your audience to read.
